X was the real YIt turns out white people were the real monsters.

Everyone probably told you to watch Get Out already.

And they were right. This was actually my third time watching this (I saw it twice in theatres back in February), but I wanted to show it to some coworkers who hadn't seen it.

They really liked it (and one confirmed it was indeed 'spooky'). Even on a third watch I spotted some things I hadn't before and didn't really notice anything that didn't make sense if you watched with knowledge of how it turns out.

The premise of the movie is good, it uses racism effectively and accurately to build tension (at least as far as I can tell as a white guy), and the story is funny and engaging. If you haven't seen it yet, you should.
