They weren't named Mary Kate & Ashley, so this movie is bullshit.
This movie has about the plot you would expect in it, and that is certainly passable enough. The twins act cute without being grating. Kids learn an important lesson about the importance of sisterhood, sharing, and friendship.
This movie also has some problems though. This probably-quickly-written script did not handle homelessness, disability, or race with quite the level of tact you would hope. Even in 1993, a plot point where a black man is transformed into a crow should not have made it from script to the final cut of a movie.
So yeah, there are better MK&A movies and better kid-friendly Halloween movies. Skip this one.
